Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This policy explains how Beal Software LLC ("MoveWarden," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the MoveWarden iPhone app, website, support service, and mover-record API.

Information in the app

You can enter move cities, a move date, home size, tasks, mover choices, written quotes, box inventory, notes, photos, and move-day records. MoveWarden stores this information in protected app storage on your device. Local use does not require a MoveWarden account.

Private iCloud storage and recovery

When an iCloud account is available, MoveWarden stores move projects in the private iCloud database for that Apple Account. This lets the owner recover a paid move, its Move Pass, tasks, mover choices, quote records and originals, inventory, private photos, and move-day records on the owner's other iPhones and iPads and after reinstall. The devices must use the same iCloud account.

Recovery starts automatically when the same iCloud account is available. Local use remains available when iCloud is signed out or not available. MoveWarden uses CloudKit, an Apple service, for private storage and recovery. It does not receive your Apple Account password. The paid move and its Move Pass appear together from the private iCloud record; MoveWarden does not use Apple purchase-history restoration for this non-renewing product.

Household sharing

A move owner can invite household members through Apple CloudKit sharing. An Adult can see the shared adult move graph, including permitted mover documents, quotes, financial details, inventory, and shared evidence. A Helper can see only the common coordination graph and the Helper's own evidence inbox. A Helper cannot see mover documents, quotes, financial details, private inventory photos, or owner-only move-day records.

The owner can remove a participant in the app. The owner can also stop sharing by deleting the move. Apple can process participant identifiers and an invitation address to provide CloudKit sharing. MoveWarden does not store the invitation email address or phone number in the move record.

Mover recommendations and checks

After you activate a Move Pass, the app sends the origin city and state and destination city and state to our mover-record API. The service uses these route details to return prepared public mover records. Standard network data, such as an IP address, request time, and security information, can be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the service.

The mover-record API does not receive your name, street address, quote file, quote text, household list, box inventory, photos, or App Store transaction identifier.

Private quote analysis

Quote scanning, text recognition, and quote analysis run on your device. MoveWarden does not send quote documents or extracted quote text to its mover-record API. If Apple Intelligence is not available, the app uses a labeled on-device rules result.

Purchases

Apple processes Move Pass purchases. The app reads verified StoreKit transaction information needed to activate the correct move and calculate its six-month term. When recovery is enabled, the verified transaction identifier and purchase and expiration dates are stored with that private move in iCloud. One Move Pass stays bound to one move. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the address, message, and files that you choose to send. We use them to answer the request, prevent abuse, and keep a reasonable support record. Do not send quote documents, identity documents, payment-card details, or other sensitive files unless we ask for a specific item that is needed.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, and support MoveWarden.
  • Return route-relevant mover records and official-source links.
  • Verify a new Move Pass purchase and recover its paid move when you enable recovery.
  • Find faults, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties.

No advertising or tracking

MoveWarden does not sell personal information. The current app has no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. We do not use app data for targeted advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help operate the service, when you ask us to share it, or when law requires it. Current service providers can include Apple for app distribution, StoreKit, iCloud, and CloudKit, and Cloudflare for website and mover-API hosting.

We require service providers that receive user information to protect it in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Retention and deletion

Move records remain until you delete them. A Move Pass ending does not delete the historical move. If recovery is enabled, deleting a move also deletes its CloudKit records and propagates the deletion to connected devices after sync. Deleting the app from one device removes that local copy but does not delete the private iCloud copy. See the data-deletion instructions.

We keep support messages and limited security records only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, legal, and operational purposes. Prepared mover records come from public and licensed sources and are not customer move records.

Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. MoveWarden is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can review, correct, export, or delete move information through the app where those controls are available. The owner controls household sharing and participant removal. You can also contact us about a privacy request. We can ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns you.

Changes and contact

We can update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. We will update the date on this page. For privacy questions, email support@movewarden.com.
